The warm, plant-filled lobby of Research Boulevard Veterinary Clinic

The clinic your pet would choose

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Elena Marsh, we've grown from a two-room practice into North Austin's most trusted independent veterinary clinic — without losing the personal touch.

Our story

Dr. Marsh opened Research Boulevard Veterinary Clinic with one exam room, a rescued greyhound at her feet, and a belief that veterinary medicine works best when nobody feels rushed.

Fifteen years later, we're still independently owned — which means medical decisions are made by doctors who know your pet, not a corporate office. We've added a surgical suite, in-house diagnostics, and three more doctors, but the first thing you'll notice is still the same: this place feels calm.

Practice Manager

Dana is the friendly voice on the phone and the reason appointments run on time. She manages scheduling, insurance questions, and payment plans, and she keeps a jar of dog treats on the front desk that is somehow never empty.

Our promise

Transparent pricing before treatment, honest options at every decision point, and a callback the same day — every time. If we wouldn't recommend it for our own pets, we won't recommend it for yours.

Our approach

Fear Free-informed handling, cat-only morning hours on Tuesdays, and treat-first exams. We take the time to earn your pet's trust, because relaxed patients get better medicine.
