Welcome to the family

New patient visits are unhurried by design: a full hour with a doctor, a written health plan for the year ahead, and plenty of treats.

What to expect at your first visit

Your first appointment begins with a relaxed meet-and-greet — we let your pet explore the exam room and warm up before any handling begins.

Your doctor will perform a complete nose-to-tail exam, review any previous records, and talk through nutrition, behavior, parasite prevention, and vaccines. You'll leave with a written plan and clear pricing for anything we recommend.

Plan for about an hour. Bring any medical records you have (or just tell us your previous clinic — we'll request them for you), a list of current foods and medications, and your questions. No question is too small.

First-visit questions

What does a first visit cost?
New patient exams are $78. Any vaccines or diagnostics are itemized separately, and you'll approve pricing before anything happens.
My pet is anxious at the vet. Can you help?
Absolutely — tell us when you book. We can schedule quieter time slots, prescribe pre-visit calming medication, and use our Fear Free handling approach throughout.
Do you offer payment plans?
We accept CareCredit and Scratchpay for larger treatment plans, and we're always happy to build care in stages that fit your budget.
